How to get Started

The Jedi Temple

For this mission, we have chosen Airmeet as our virtual Jedi Temple, your command center for training in the ways of the Force. Keep your eyes peeled for a separate holo-transmission (email) delivering your exclusive access codes. Before you embark on your quest, unlock the secrets of the Airmeet Holocron by watching the intro video and complete your Jedi profile so you can connect with other participants.

Jedi Training in Posit Cloud

Mission Log: Order 01 - Initiating Contact With the Rebel Base

  • Open your web browser and go to Posit Cloud.
  • Click Sign Up and create your account.
  • Use the same email address you used to register for the workshop.
  • Confirm your account using the verification email.

Mission Log: Order 02 - Entering the Secret Rebel Workshop Base

  • Return to Posit Cloud and log in.
  • One day before the workshop, you will receive the workshop-space link by email.

Mission Log: Order 03 - Joining the Fellowship of the Force

  • Enter the workshop space and open the PopGenJedi project.
  • The first launch may take a little time while the environment is prepared.

Mission Log: Order 04 - Teleporting Your Data Scrolls to the Cloud Realm

  • Open the Files tab in the lower-right panel.
  • Click Upload.
  • Select your file and confirm with Open and OK.

Mission Log: Order 05 - Installing R in Your Own Star Destroyer (Optional)

Most workshop activities run directly in the cloud environment. If you prefer local setup, use:
